European clothing/shoes size chart

European clothing sizes and shoe sizes can be confusing when shopping online. So, to make it easier when shopping European online, make sure that the European size is converted into US, Canadian and the UK and the measurements of the particular clothing you are purchasing are listed. And remember, clothing sizes are not exact, they are guidelines. Each designer sized his or her clothing differently. It is best to know your fit based on the specific designer brand you are purchasing. Notice, I used the word "fit" not your actual body size. For example, a size 4 dress in J. Crew is your perfect fit, but a size 4 dress in BCBGmaxazria may be too big or too small. Your body measurement is a size 8, but you will never fit into Chico's size 8. When it comes to shoe sizing, Paul Green shoe sizes are a perfect example. A Paul Green Size 6  shoe Aus is a size 7.5 in US. If you are buying from a resale online store, make sure to double check size conversion. Also in many cases, it is easy to communicate with a resale online store manager or owner, before purchasing.
